Shaya carved gourd birdhouse, hand painted

This lovely birdhouse was handmade by a family of artisans in the city of Huancayo in the Peruvian Andes. The design was carved in a gourd using the fine art of mate burilado. Birds will come-to-nest in spring and summer and raise their little ones in your yard or garden!
